Before & After

A person’s home says a lot about who they are, and our client’s renovation clearly reflects his love for cooking and relaxation which is evident in the focus on the kitchen and primary en-suite bathroom. The project involved a comprehensive gut renovation of this New York City apartment, reimagining the kitchen and two bathrooms, and a new flooring installation.

The limited size of the kitchen was restricting our client’s ability to fully enjoy cooking. To address this, we extended the layout by removing a partial partition and taking a bit of space from the living room. We transformed the kitchen into a culinary-friendly space with improved workflow and ample storage.

The cabinetry features a modern flat-panel design in a rich blue finish, paired with a luxurious Dekton countertop. We also integrated lighting to enhance task zones and highlight finishes.

To cater our client's need for a deep rest and relaxation, a spa-like hotel that offers a high-end experience was the inspiration for the primary bathroom. Space was maximized to accommodate both a freestanding bathtub and a separate walk-in shower.

The floor and walls are clad in black marble, while the accent wall behind the tub and shower features elegant Carrara marble tiles

To introduce a pop of color, we installed a wall-mounted green vanity. At the client's request, a glass partition was added next to the bathtub to maintain an open feel and create the hotel ambiance.

In the guest bathroom, we focused on warm, earthy tones. The space features white marble tiles and Arabescato marble within the shower, complemented by brass hardware for a touch of luxury. A dark wood vanity with a fluted front adds texture and warmth to the overall design

When it comes to creating a home, it always comes down to your lifestyle, passions, and needs. Whether our client is cooking up the best dishes in his newly renovated kitchen or unwinding in his spa-like bathroom, knowing he is finally able to fully enjoy his space is a great accomplishment for the Chapter team.
